Rough Rider: Calvin Patterson

Calvin Patterson

The Winner: Champ Willis

Coming off a stellar championship with the Rumble, James ‘Champ’ Willis was left unprotected in the expansion draft, with Coach Carter choosing to protect other players.

Champ took it upon himself to win no-matter-what and led the Riders to the title, his second in as many seasons.

Gamechanger: George Byrd

George Byrd
Never before had SlamBall seen a player as big, fast and strong as George Byrd, who posted ludicrous defensive numbers and savaged opposing teams as he rushed forward on offense. This 6’9″ 280lb monster shocked the top teams with his ability to intimidate on the back line and at the rim.

Joe Cocca: Doing it All

Joe Cocca did the dirty work for the silver & black attack. Raining three-pointers or thumping people in the open floor, Cocca fit into the team.
